The Future of News and Civic Media Conference at MIT

On June 17-19, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and MIT’s Center for Future Civic Media hosted the Future of News and Civic Media Conference in Boston. The conference brought together past and present Knight News Challenge winners, media innovators, and community leaders - all working together to use new technologies to shape the future of news and civic media.
Nora Paul demo-ed the "Playing the News" project funded by the Knight Foundation grant program in 2007 at this invitation-only conference.
