Airport transportation
Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport (MSP) is approximately 20 miles from
campus. A taxi from the airport to the Radisson Metrodome costs about
$25. An airport-to-hotel SUPER SHUTTLE runs every 15 minutes or so,
stopping at six Minneapolis hotels including the Radisson Metrodome.
Cost is $13.00 one way and $21.00 round trip.
Parking
Parking for Radisson Metrodome guests is at the Washington Avenue
Parking Ramp adjacent to the hotel. The front desk will direct you
to the ramp following check-in. Hotel guests can walk to Murphy Hall.
For participants who are driving to campus, spaces have been reserved
at the U of M Church Street Garage for each day of the event. As you
enter the ramp, tell attendant that you are attending the "Institute
for New Media Studies -- Sensing the News" conference. You will have
a reservation even if the ramp says full. Please let me know, as
soon as possible, if you will need a parking space so I can add your
name to the roster.
